Teamed up with the Deb & Jeff Hansen Foundation, Bubba is provided with a “blank canvas” pantry and he creates a three panel mural on it, like many of his Freedom Rocks®, it portrays area and town specific content.
A way to tour around Iowa and see Little Free Pantry murals, while helping our Iowa neighbors in need. THE GOAL is to take non-perishable items with you when you tour, to help supply the "Pantry Captains" with these essentials to keep each pantry in operation!
Deb & Jeff Hansen, and their Iowa Select Farms crew have funded this incredible way to give back. These sturdy pantries are built by Phil Jass—a furniture maker and wood craftsman, and finally, painted by Bubba.

The Deb and Jeff Hansen Little Free Pantry provides 24/7 access for families facing short-term, emergency situations. These pantries are designed to supplement existing hunger relief efforts by offering emergency resources to families who do not have the ability to buy food or have limited access to pantries or community shelters.
The Little Free Pantries are built by Phil Jass—a furniture maker and wood craftsman from Alden, Iowa—
and painted Bubba. After that they shingle them, put a door on ‘em and fill them with supplies.
They are stocked and cared for by the employees and farm families of Iowa Select Farms. Items providing critical care and food needs for community children will be the highest priority and will include winter clothing, personal care items, non-perishable foods and other care products for infants, toddlers and children.
